Moonshine |
| On this date 1962 in the backwoods of West Virginia, FRB and some locals are brewing up a fine batch of the alcohol known as moonshine. FRB himself has taken a few belts of this toxic stuff and yes that stuff will send you for a ride. As the boys and FRB are making their last batch, they are discussing ways for the moonshine to be delivered, because although illegal, this stuff is very popular for both beverage consmption and paint remover, and for a while it is even discussed that perhaps bootlegging should be given up in favor of the legitimate practice of selling paint remover. That notion is quickly dismissed as the next batch is proof tested by FRB himself and he declares it ready for consumption. Later in the weeks that follow, several reports of limbs falling off, blindness, dementia, and unexplained bleeding and vomiting are reported around the state of West Virginia, prompting FRB and his kissin' cousins to somewhat alter the recipe. "Seemed allright to me" yelped FRB, which in itself is not a good thing. |
