Boggle Tourney |
| 1991, FRB has once again made to the finals of the Boggle tournament, yes Boggle the game that you spell as many words as you can given a certain time frame. This game had been a favorite for many years for FRB and friends and now his dream of becoming Boggle champion could possibly be coming true. After getting through the semi finals with a tense 2 word victory, FRB went to bed early, but he did not sleep, instead hammering away at the dictionary trying to memorize as many inane and stupid words as he could, every little edge counted. As the new day arrived FRB awoke with a confidence that assured victory. After a hearty breakfeast (spanish omlet and rye toast) he entered the final match against Dale Ceeders aka the wordmaster. It was a best 4 out of 7 and the games went back and forth tension gripping the air until the match was even at three games apiece. The final game, the timer turned and the pens moved quickly until time was up and it appeared the Word master had done it again 17 words to 10 for FRB. The qu combination once again dooming our hero. |
